Update After Six Months of Ownership


After more than six months of frequent use, my experience owning the Razor E325 has reinforced some of my initial impressions, and also provided new insights.


Durability: This scooter has continued to prove its robustness. The steel frame remains in great condition despite frequent use, proving that its construction can really take a beating.


Battery Performance: As anticipated, the lead-acid battery has shown signs of wear. The maximum range of the scooter on a full charge has decreased slightly, which is to be expected with this type of battery. Regular riders might consider upgrading to a more modern battery technology if extended usage times are needed.


Ride Experience: The ride continues to be smooth thanks to the pneumatic tires. However, the fixed handlebar height has become a slight issue as it does not accommodate all family members comfortably.


Noise Levels: The motor noise has not increased, which is a good sign of its durability. It remains slightly louder than more contemporary models but is not overly disruptive.


Maintenance and Upkeep: Routine maintenance has been straightforward. Regularly checking the chain tension and tire pressure has helped maintain an optimal riding experience. I encountered a flat tire, which was relatively easy to replace due to the scooter's simple design.
